Every year the Band enjoys a full calendar of events, and 2018 was no exception. If you came to any of our events we thank you for your support. Further information on past and future events can be obtained from our Secretary or Pipe Major via the Contact and Tariff  page.

Another busy year for the band in prospect as the following list of events indicate. We hope to see as many band members as possible attending these events.

2019 Past and Future Events are as follows 

Sat. 23rd Feb. Cheltenham Scottish Society Annual dance, 4 Pipers required
meet at 6pm at the Pittville School, Albert Road GL52 3JD. Completed with 2 pipers, William and Alan.

Sat. April 6th Llanelli Scarlets Rugby game versus Edinburgh Kick off is at 1845 hrs.

Meet in the Sessile Oak for a meal (courtesy of Swansea  Pipe Band) at 2pm discuss tunes and timings. 3pm rehearsal. Completed with 4 pipers; William; J.Ross; P.Turner and C.Bayliss.

Sunday 28th April Hereford St George's Day parade. March starts at 2.30pm. Assemble at 2pm beside Castle Green; Post Code HR1 2NW; where there will be parking hopefully, Parking for the band has been found by the organiser and the address is Sarum House; 3 Ethelbert St; Hereford; Post Code HR1 2NS it is then a 3 min walk to the start. We need to be in the finishing stages of our tuning up for 2 oclock so would suggest members arrive by 1.30pm. We will march to the Cathedral as last year but we will not stop, we march back to Castle Green where there will be a short service 10/15 mins. Completed with 11 pipers and 6 Drummers, our thanks to the Swansea Pipe Band for supplying 4 drummers.

Monday May 27th Pershore bank holiday carnival. Start at the Pershore Football Ground, King George's Way Post Code WR10 1QU. Start is scheduled for 1pm please arrive by 12.15pm to allow for tuning etc. Now we have some parking available at the Football Ground. Changing, tuning up etc in our normal room at the end of the building adjacent to the football ground. Completed with 8 pipers and 3 drummers.

Sat. 7th Sept.  Gloucester Day Parade. Parade starts at 2pm in Constitution Walk Post Code GL1 1TH beside the Conservative Club. Band has also been requested to play a short session in Kings Square at 1pm  Post code GL1 1RP. Please arrive at Kings Square for 12.30pm to allow for tuning up etc. Completed with 8 pipers and 3 Drummers.

Sat 5th Oct. Quedgeley Parish Church Start 2.15pm March past and refreshments afterwards. Meet at Severn Vale School Post Code GL2 4 PR by 1.30pm. You can park here, change if necessary and tune up. March off from school at 2.05pm; 1/4 mile march to Church where the service is being held, you are welcome to attend. William or Tom will play a lament during service, march back to school at approx. 2.45pm where refreshments are available.

Sun. 10th November Stow in the Wold Remembrance day parade. This event is definitely going ahead but the arrangements have been changed they will follow the the same process as last year. No parking at the BL club, parking is at the Car Park of the Unicorn Hotel, parking is on the opposite side of the road ( main road A429 through Stow) from the Hotel Post Code GL54 1HQ. Tuning up, storing of kit etc. will be in the Church Rooms, access to these rooms are gained by crossing over the road from the Car Park to the Hotel and walking(short distance) along an alleyway. Rooms opened from 9.30am; tea and coffee available. March off will be at 10.30am as normal from the square. March off from Church after service as normal to the Town Hall reception.
